I'd say contract through 2027 , 4.5 million a year with a 30 million $ buy out. Anything less would be disappointing

Well they can always let Crean go at the end of the year .... I hear Josh Pastner might be looking for a job soon!!!!! IU deserves one of those two for all their good deeds.

The Redskins won the Super Bowl in 82, 87 and 91. I know they lost 2 more so I can calculate that they won 5 NFC Championships so that's easy. I have no idea how many other times they won the NFC East or have been in the playoffs. I'm not interested in division champions or even conference championships don/'t feel much better but I care about the Super Bowl wins. The regular season is a means to an end.

Seriously, winning the SEC never enters my mind as a goal I aspire to for UK basketball. Not really even a little bit. UK fans have been trained to think in terms of NCAA tournament success. The SEC is just for honing the team. I would gladly choose for UK to lose the game that decided the SEC regular season champion, if it improved the team or helped Cal make a point he needed to establish for the real tournament.

Things are coming together nicely. IU will be just good enough to lose in the 2nd round of the NCAA, possibly even all the way to the Sweet 16. They lose and Clappy gets a new lifetime contract. Popcorn and phonebooks for everyone.

The regular season definitely matters. The most enjoyable seasons are when you have a really good team. Postseason definitely matters the most though.

I myself liked when we had won more conference titles than the rest of the conference teams combined. I want to win at least 50% of them. I also expect to win 50% of the SECT titles as well, or at worst make the finals to repay the many fans who make a pilgrimage of the tourney and look forward to it all year.
For me the regular season, SECT and NCAA are the most important.
